The "Novo Encontro Juventudes" was an initiative by the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation to mark the presentation of the portrait "Youth in Portugal, Today," which revealed the conclusions of a study conducted with nearly five thousand young people, aiming to understand "who they are, what they think, and what they feel."

The meeting comprised various panels over two days, where the youth of different times were analyzed and compared, and the challenges and opportunities of the current generation of young people were discussed, among many other topics.
