August Fair 2018 | Grândola

The Parque de Feiras e Exposições de Grândola hosted the August Fair from August 23rd to 27th, considered one of the largest fairs in the country.

The event is organized by the Município de Grândola, Crédito Agrícola da Costa Azul, Escola Profissional de Desenvolvimento Rural de Grândola and Associação dos Empresários do Alentejo Litoral.
For five days, over 400 exhibitors showcased regional products, crafts, gastronomy, and various economic sectors of the region.

Music and entertainment were also prominent. On the opening night, August 23rd, musician Diogo Piçarra performed. The following night featured DJs Ride and Diego Miranda, while on August 25th, singer Aurea took the stage, having just released "Confessions," her fourth original album. On August 26th, it was Virgul's turn, and the fair concluded on August 27th with a performance by Amor Electro, led by Marisa Liz.
